Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- Mainly due to prevalent North-westerly/Westerly dry air and high solar insolation, rainfall activities and heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha on May 2, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, "Maximum temperatures observed marked rise at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.
