Aska, May 7 -- Aska MLA Manjula Swain, who is the MLA candidate from the BJD, reportedly faced a protest from villagers during a campaign for the forthcoming elections in Odisha.

According to reports, the BJD candidate had visited Sidhanai panchayat for campaign on Monday. A group of villagers of Badagarh village stood in front of her vehicle over drinking water issue in their area.

Reports said that the MLA has been facing questions from the voters, who had been demanding drinking water facilities in their villagers under Aska Assembly Constituency in Ganjam district, during her poll campaign in the last few days.
