KATHMANDU, Feb. 19 -- The trucks will support the government's efforts to strengthen its immunization program through safe and timely delivery of vaccines across the country.

UNICEF and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, on Friday, handed over four refrigerator trucks for vaccine transportation to the Government of Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population in Kathmandu.

The refrigerator trucks will ensure safe delivery of essential vaccines from the federal vaccine storage facilities to the provincial and district vaccine stores.
