RAUTAHAT, April 25 -- Amid rising temperature, businessmen in Rautahat have called for permission to operate their businesses until late at night.

A delegation of businessmen led by Pandit Prasad Jaiswal, President of the Rautahat Chambers of Commerce and Industry, met with the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Rautahat Hira Lal Regmi, on Wednesday. They submitted a memorandum requesting permission to extend their business hours until 10:30 PM.

President Jaiswal said that with declining business and the extreme afternoon heat making it difficult for people to venture out, extending business hours could help boost revenue.
