KATHMANDU, Feb. 6 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday increased 9.44 points to close at 2,085.71 points.

The market opened at 2,076.27 points and fell to the day's low at 2,068.44 points in just two minutes of trading. The index then reached as high as 2,087.24 points in the next eight minutes. The index went through a series of fluctuations in the remaining trading hours.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies fell 1.45 points. The daily turnover marginally increased to Rs 2.59 billion from Rs 2.43 billion on Monday.
