NEPSE inches up 4.92 points; daily turnover increases slightly to Rs 2.84 billion
KATHMANDU, Feb. 7 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday increased marginally by 4.92 points to close at 2,090.64 points.
The market opened at 2,085.71 points and reached the day's high at 2,107.58 points in just seven minutes of trading. In the next one hour, the index then fell to as low as 2,087.24 points. The market almost remained stable for the remaining trading hours.
The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies added 0.12 points. The daily turnover marginally increased to Rs 2.84 billion from Rs 2.59 billion on Tuesday.
