KATHMANDU, April 28 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday increased 14.33 points to close at 1,980.27 points.

The secondary market opened at 1,965.93 points, went down to 1,968.15 points in the first 10 minutes and remained almost stable for the next two hours. The index reached the day's high at 1,981.55 points when the trading time was 45 minutes left. In the remaining trading hours, the market lost around one point before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies also increased 2.62 points. The daily turnover inclined to Rs 2.68 billion from Rs 2.36 billion on Thursday.
