KATHMANDU, April 2 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday declined marginally by 1.85 points to close at 2,010.21 points.

The market opened at 2,012.07 points and surged to the day's high at 2,018.06 points in the first half an hour. In the next moment, the market went through a series of fluctuations and reached the day's low at 2,004.7 points before the last 15 minutes of the trading time. The market recovered around six points before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies gained 0.53 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 2.29 billion from Rs 2.87 billion on Monday.
