KATHMANDU, Feb. 4 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday declined 5.31 points to close at 2,061.70 points.

The market opened at 2,067.01 points and plunged to the day's low at 2,054.15 points in the first 23 minutes of trading. The market reached as high as 2,072.9 points in the next one hour, while it shed around 11 points in the remaining trading hours.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies decreased marginally by 0.60 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 3.21 billion from Rs 4.18 billion on Thursday.
