TANAHUN, April 21 -- The contract for the eastern section under the Muglin-Pokhara road extension project has expired. Following the expiry of the contract on April 17, the government has initiated the process of extending the deadline of the project.

Bishnu Pandey, an engineer overseeing the eastern section of the project, mentioned that the Government of Nepal is planning to extend the deadline by six months considering the suspension of the construction work during the Covid-19 pandemic. Construction began in mid-April 2021.
