KATHMANDU, April 21 -- Kathmandu continues to grapple with severe air pollution, securing its position as the second most polluted city among the top 10 cities in the world.

According to IQ Air's latest data, Beijing, the capital of China, retains its title as the world's most polluted city.

Earlier at 8 AM, Beijing's Air Quality Index (AQI) was measured at 165. Similarly, Kathmandu's AQI was recorded in 162. Which is considered dangerous for human health.
