KATHMANDU, April 26 -- The government has appointed 77 liaison officers for the management of mountain climbing this season. They will serve as contact officers for various mountain climbing expedition team members.

According to the Department of Tourism, 48 employees from the Ministry of Tourism and its subordinate agencies have been appointed as liaison officers for the spring season of 2024. These liaison officers are required to accompany their climbing teams to the base camp of the mountain.
