Chandigarh, Feb. 20 -- The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), which spearheaded the farmer unions' protests against the contentious farm laws in 2020-2021, on Sunday firmly rejected the Centre's proposal regarding crop diversification and procurement. The decision comes in the wake of a meeting held on Sunday night, where the three Union Ministers presented their suggestions aimed at addressing the concerns of the farming community.

Staunchly dismissing the Centre's proposal, the SKM emphasized its rejection of anything below MSP at C2-plus-50 per cent (C2+50%).
