BHUBANESWAR, Feb. 9 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted multiple raids in Odisha and 20 other places across the country in connection with an alleged fraud of Rs 900 crore by a chit fund company.
As per reports, the raids were being conducted at 10 places in Odisha including Ganjam and Bhubaneswar. Apart from this, raids were also underway on the properties linked to the Golden Land Developers Limited which is a New Delhi-based company.
The company was registered in 2008 and the Cuttack ADM had earlier auctioned some land of the chit-fund company in Ganjam and other parts of the State in June 2016. The bidders had participated in an auction for 2 acres and 101 decimals of land at Chhatrapur and 83 decimals at Tikiti....
