India, Feb. 17 -- The ongoing standoff between protesting farmers and the Union Government continues to rivet the nation's attention, highlighting deep-rooted issues concerning agricultural reforms, livelihood and the role of the State. This year has witnessed a resurgence of farmer protests, reminiscent of the 2020-2021 protests.
