Chandigarh, March 13 -- "Virtual inaugurations" of various projects in Punjab by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to go down well with the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who criticized the BJP-led Centre for orchestrating these events without prior consultation with the state government.

The absence of collaboration between the Central and State authorities has raised eyebrows, with Mann decrying, what he sees, as a blatant attempt by the Central Government to hog the limelight while disregarding Punjab's integral role in these projects.

Mann, in a scathing critique, minced no words to lash out at the Central Government for sidelining the "elected" state government, "merely to seek credit" for the projects.
