Kolkata, April 27 -- Bitter political slugfest ensued after the Union Home Ministry on Friday deployed National Security Guard commandos to defuse explosives recovered by the Central Bureau of Investigation at Sandeshkhali leading the Trinamool Congress to term it all an "election-time high drama in order to influence voters" while the BJP promptly demanding Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's resignation.

Earlier on the day the CBI dug up about 10-15 guns of foreign make and a large quantity ammo including explosives hidden under the floor of the house of a local TMC worker Abu Taleb Molla, 55 known for his proximity to arrested TMC strongman Sheikh Shahjahan.
