BHOPAL, April 26 -- The nomination of independent candidate AK Jilani from Bhopal Lok Sabha seat has been cancelled. Jilali has called it a conspiracy by the ruling BJP.
He said that there is no expectation of relief from the Commission. Therefore they will take the matter to court.
The first phase of Lok Sabha elections has been completed in the state. The second phase of voting is to be held tomorrow, Thursday. But, meanwhile, a demand has been raised to postpone the elections on Bhopal Lok Sabha seat included in the third phase. A complaint has been made to the Election Commission regarding this. Besides, preparations are also being made to approach the court demanding postponement of the elections.
