New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Inaugurating the 'Vividhata Ka Amrit Mahotsav' with a focus on the North-East at Rashtrapati Bhavan here, President Droupadi Murmu underscored India's cultural diversity as a source of strength and unity. She expressed hope that the event would attract a large audience eager to immerse themselves in the cultural vibrancy of the region.

The fest aims to showcase India's rich diversity through seven distinct editions, starting with the North-East. Artists, artisans, performers, and culinary experts from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Sikkim have converged to display their talents and traditions through various cultural activities and exhibitions.
