Mumbai, April 9 -- Likening the Opposition Congress to 'Kadwa Karela' (bitter gourd), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday charged that the grand old party was the "source of all problems in the country" and that the "INDI Alliance" which it was heading had pushed the country into instability.
Kicking off the BJP's campaign for the Lok Sabha polls at Chandrapur in eastern Maharashtra, Modi said: "The Congress is like 'Kadwa Karela' (Bitter gourd). Bitter gourd can never be sweet even if it is mixed with ghee or sugar. This applies to the Congress perfectly. This party can never mend its ways.
