Chandigarh, March 12 -- Congress MLAs, on the sixth day of the ongoing budget session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha, vehemently called for a resolution denouncing the Centre and the Haryana Government for their alleged mistreatment of farmers protesting at the Shambhu and Khanauri border points.

Congress MLA from Gidderbaha Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, who is also the state party president, brought forth the pressing issue of the ongoing farmers' agitation at the Punjab-Haryana borders during the Zero Hour. Warring passionately advocated for a thorough discussion on farmers' grievances and proposed a resolution condemning the Centre and the Haryana Government for their purported atrocities against the protesting farmers.
