DEHRADUN, March 12 -- Chief electoral officer BVRC Purushottam held a meeting with representatives of all political parties in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. He appealed to the political parties to cooperate as expected for successful conduct of the parliamentary elections. The political parties were also asked to abstain from the use of single use plastic in the campaigning process for the elections. They were informed in detail about nomination of candidates, manifesto and the Election Commission guidelines during the imposition of the election model code of conduct.
