New Delhi, April 27 -- The national capital on Friday evening witnessed sudden rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds which led to traffic chaos on several stretches. An electric pole fell on a car parked at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, ITO. No casualty reported here.

India Meteorological Department (IMD)'s Director General Dr Mrutunjay Mohapatra told the pioneer, the sudden weather change witnessed by the people in North west and Central India including Delhi is a result of the western disturbance. Central India will witness rain on Saturday as well. Strong gusty winds of speed between 70 to 80 kmph were also witnessed.
