BALESWAR, March 18 -- Hearing a petition pertaining to the Birla Tyres Workers' Union, the NCLT, New Delhi Bench, the appellate tribunal, on Thursday, adjourned the matter to April16.
The petitioners represented by their counsels AK Shrivastava and Akash Sharma petitioned that the NCLT Kolkata bench approved the resolution plan without hearing the workers grievances. They further alleged that the approval of the Kolkata bench appeared to be in contravention of the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) as highlighted in the appeal.
