BHOPAL, Feb. 25 -- Bulldozers razed a total of 386 houses in Bhadbhada slums of the state capital in 4 days. The action was completed after removing 118 houses on Saturday.

The residents of the slums were given 3 options land in Chandpur Berasia, compensation of Rs 1 lakh each and the Prime Minister's residence. Most of them shifted after taking compensation. After the action the picture of the settlement has changed.

Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh said that the action has been completed. Saplings will be planted here on a large scale.
