New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Saturday said its 'Yamuna Jan Jagran Abhiyan' or awareness programme organised under Yamuna Action Plan-II is a success and till date more than 2,48,000 people have taken part in it.

Making this assertion here, the BDJB said the rising number of mass participation is clear evidence that the people of Delhi are aware and willing to keep the Yamuna clean.

This campaign is an effort to increase awareness about Yamuna conservation efforts among the people of Delhi and to actively involve them in cleaning and preserving the holy river.
