New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- In an effort to further enhance bilateral ties, the 17th Indian Navy (IN) - French Navy (FN) Staff Talks was held here for two days ending Wednesday. The meeting was co-chaired by Rear Admiral Nirbhay Bapna, ACNS (FCI) and Rear Admiral Jean Marc Durandau, Director International Engagements, FN.

Giving details here on Thursday, officials said the talks witnessed active participation from both sides. Major discussions included operational, training and Subject Matter Expert (SME) exchanges. Both sides also acknowledged the growing cooperation between the two Navies and agreed to enhance collaboration and interoperability in the maritime domain.
