Bhubaneswar, April 26 -- Odisha is searing in intense heatwave conditions for the last several days and as per the India Meteorological Department, there is no immediate relief expected from the scorching weather. The IMD says that there is high probability that such heatwave conditions will prevail in different parts of Odisha for two more weeks. Bhubaneswar IMD scientist Umashankar Dash informed that as per the extended weather outlook, the heatwave conditions will continue in Odisha till May 9. The heatwave conditions are also likely to prevail in coastal districts while several parts in western and interior pockets might experience day temperature between 42 to 44 degrees Celsius during the same period.
