Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- While the people of Odisha continue to suffer due to the intense heat wave conditions, the temperature level is likely to fall by 2-3degC in the next two days- April 23 and 24- due to Nor'wester.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature may rise again by 2-3degC after the brief fall for two days at many places in Odisha.

"Due to prevailing mainly Northwesterly/Westerly dry air and high solar insolation, the day temperature is very likely to be 40degC or above at many places over the districts of Odisha and likely to be above normal by 3 to 5degC over some districts of Odisha during next 24 hours," said IMD.
