Plaster falls off from ceiling of new school building; verandah turns classroom for students in Mayurbhanj
Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Putting their lives at risk, students are forced to attend their classes by sitting on the verandah as plaster fell off from the ceiling of a newly constructed school building in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district.
As per reports, the students of Jhatiali Government Primary School in Kerkera village under Karanjia block in the district have to sit on verandah due to the poor condition of their school building.
There are as many as 100 students in the school. However, they have to face many difficulties due to the poor condition of their school infrastructure, alleged locals. Though a new building has been constructed for the school, plasters from the ceiling are falling off due to alleged poor construction work.
