Bhubaneswar, April 23 -- A recent data revealed that INFLATION RATE IN ODISHA WAS HIGHEST IN MARCH 2024 as compared to other states and union territories in the country. Inflation is the degree of increase in prices over a given period of time, and it measures how much more expensive a set of goods and services has become over a certain period. As per the data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Odisha recorded the highest retail inflation rate of 7.1 per cent among all major states in the month of March.
