Bhubaneswar, April 23 -- Joint teams have been formed with other enforcement agencies for the enforcement and for total stoppage of any freebies in Odisha during the upcoming General Elections, informed Odisha Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur on Monday.

Thakur further informed that raids are also underway to stop the immoral means during the polling time.

"Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha constituencies and 147 Assembly constituencies spread over about 30,688 locations. The total number of booths is a little more than 30,800. For all these booths, our prime responsibility is to provide vehicles for the polling party to reach the booths," Thakur told ANI.
