Bhubaneswar, Feb. 15 -- In absence of senior batters like Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, Indian batting order has been depleted in the ongoing Test series against England. Indian batsmen have failed to put up impressive shows against the visitors.

Meanwhile, former India player Karsan Ghavri on Wednesday slammed the decision to ignore veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara for the all important Test series at home.

A veteran of 103 Tests, the 36-year-old Pujara has been sidelined from the Indian team since the series in the West Indies. As per BCCI sources, the Indian selectors are preferring to look ahead.
