Pathsala, May 18 -- The authorities in the Baska district have said that they have seized several illegal sand and stone-laden dumpers in Salbari area.

As per reports, overloaded dumpers were seized by the Tamulpur range officials, with the registration numbers of the two seized dumpers being AS26-AC-0149 and AS25-CC-7346.

Sources said, one dumper was seized from Govardhana and another from Hudukhat for operating without proper documentation.

The overloaded sand-laden dumper was reportedly coming from Chunbari Khagrabari Mahal.

A total of three dumpers were seized throughout the day, with two being apprehended in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The drivers of the dumpers have been identified as Zaher Ali and Rashidul Islam.
