New Delhi, April 25 -- Delhi Capital's Rishabh Pant played a pivotal role the with the bat in their match vs Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, with a record partnership run rate with the wicketkeeper-batter Tristan Stubbs.
The DC skipper was in sublime form at his home ground clobbering 88 runs off just 43 balls with the help of five fours and eight sixes. Pant along with Stubbs went on to record the highest-ever run rate partnership in the history of IPL as well with a partnership of 67 runs in just 18 deliveries. Stubbs came to bat in the 18th over, after the dismissal of Axar Patel, and tonked the GT bowlers to all parts. Stubbs ended with 26 off just seven deliveries with the help of three fours and two sixes.
