New Delhi, April 27 -- Formula One racer Oscar Piastri has revealed himself as a Delhi Capitals supporter for the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 season. The McClaren driver always had a close association with cricket since childhood. Given his fandom for Aussie cricket great Ricky Ponting, Piastri's choice is not that surprising. In an Instagram post, Piastri shared a picture of himself rocking the Delhi Capitals matchday kit with his shirt. The shirt had the number 81 and 'Piastri' printed. His post read, "Went with Delhi Capitals as my IPL T20 team - had to go with Ricky Ponting. Thanks for all the suggestions. Will be following along".
