New Delhi, May 7 -- Raaj Kumar Anand, a former Minister in the AAP led Delhi Government, has filed his nomination as a candidate of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) from the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.

Anand resigned from the AAP cabinet on April 10 citing differences with AAP in the manner in which the party was dealing with the Liquor policy scam. Anand was a Minister of social welfare in the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP government in Delhi.

After joining the BSP, Anand said: " "I offer my tributes to BR Ambedkar. Today, I feel like I have joined my own party,"

Delhi BSP President Laxman Singh said that it was a moment of happiness that Raaj Kumar Anand had come back to the BSP.
