New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- According to an official statement by the Raj Niwas, Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena expressed visible displeasure during his visit to the Kirari area. He was dismayed by the sight of overflowing sewers, open manholes, piles of garbage, and dusty roads with potholes. The visit was prompted by repeated requests from local residents and complaints regarding severe sanitation issues and a lack of basic civic amenities in the northwest Delhi locality.

According to a senior official at the Raj Niwas, beginning from Bhagwan Mahavir Marg, the LG visited various spots in Kirari known for frequent waterlogging and extensive piles of garbage. These conditions have compelled residents to endure unhygienic living conditions.
