Arvind Kejriwal challenges ED summons in Delhi High Court
New Delhi, March 20 -- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged the summons issued to him by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi High Court.
Kejriwal has moved the High Court three days after additional chief metropolitan magistrate (ACMM) Divya Malhotra granted him bail subjecting to him furnishing bail bond to the sum of Rs 15,000 and a surety of like amount. That matter has been listed for hearing on April 01.
So far, the ED has issued 9 summons to Kejriwal for questioning in the money laundering scam related to the now scrapped Delhi Excise policy. Kejriwal has called these summons illegal and politically motivated.
