Afghanistan, Feb. 6 -- The U.S. Department of State has stated that it has no short-term plans to resume any diplomatic activities in Afghanistan. Vedant Patel, the Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, addressed this issue on Monday, February 5th, during a press briefing in response to reporters' questions. He emphasized that the U.S. Department of State's position is clear: there are no short-term plans to reinstate any diplomatic activities in Kabul.
