Afghanistan, April 22 -- Following the approval of the US military aid package, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine would not become "another Afghanistan."
Sky News recently cited the Ukrainian President, stating that the United States is not only a financial supporter of Ukraine but also a guardian of democracy worldwide.
The Ukrainian President emphasized that the US Congress's aid package sends a powerful message and demonstrates American leadership.
He further added that these aid packages send a strong message to the Kremlin and indicate that Ukraine will not become another Afghanistan.
