Afghanistan, May 8 -- The Pakistan Army announced on Wednesday that six insurgents were killed in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Pakistan Army stated that the slain insurgents were involved in "terrorist" activities.

In a statement issued by the Pakistan Army's public relations on Wednesday, it was mentioned that five insurgents were killed in an operation in the Dara-e-Ismail Khan district, and another insurgent was killed in an operation in North Waziristan.

The statement by the army of this country identified one of the slain insurgents in North Waziristan as "Inamullah."

The Pakistan Army claims that in these two operations, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also discovered and seized.
