Afghanistan, March 30 -- The Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan claims to have acquired some ancient artifacts discovered by locals in the Kalman Valley of Alingar district in Laghman province eastern Afghanistan.

According to the ministry's statement, these artifacts include a statue, a lion, and a ceramic jug, dating back thousands of years.

After the discovery of these artifacts, Abdul Noor Rasouli, the head of information and culture in Laghman, accompanied by the tourism and culture officer, the security deputy of Alingar, and the director general of historical sites, visited the site.
