Afghanistan, May 9 -- The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations of Afghanistan has announced that over three thousand Afghan migrants have returned from Iran and Pakistan, both "forcibly and voluntarily."

On Thursday, May 9, the ministry released a newsletter stating that these individuals had entered the country the previous day through the "Islam Qala," "Torkham," and "Spin Boldak" borders.

According to the ministry, 2,809 Afghan migrants voluntarily returned from Iran, and another 748 were forcibly returned from Pakistan.

This is happening while the process of deporting Afghan migrants has continued over the past months from Iran and Pakistan.
