Afghanistan, April 18 -- International media, citing Canadian officials, report that six individuals linked to what is called Canada's largest gold heist have been arrested, with three others still under pursuit.

According to Reuters, these six individuals were detained on Wednesday, April 17, exactly one year after the robbery of a shipment containing 6,600 gold bars, totaling over 270 kilograms with an approximate value of $20 million, along with $2.5 million in cash.

Toronto Pearson International Airport in April last year witnessed the heist, later labeled by Canadian police as the country's largest gold theft in history.
