Srinagar, March 4 -- Classrooms across the Kashmir division buzzed with renewed energy as government and recognized private schools returned to their usual routines, echoing with the lively chatter of returning students.

Following a hiatus of more than three months, schools eagerly unlocked their doors to welcome back students after an extended winter vacation.

The break, which commenced on November 28, 2023, for students up to 8th grade and December 11, 2023, for those in 9th to 12th standard, came to an end as schools prepared to resume operations from March 1, 2024.

However, due to inclement weather forecasts predicting heavy rains and snowfall, the resumption of classes faced a two-day delay.
