Hyderabad, March 18 -- Former minister and MLA Jagdish Reddy accused the Congress government of intentionally withholding water from farmers as a means to discredit the previous BRS administration.
Jagdish Reddy made these remarks during his visit to several villages in the Suryapet constituencies on Monday. There, he witnessed the dire conditions of parched paddy and chilli plantations and engaged with affected farmers.
Expressing his concerns, Jagdish Reddy highlighted the contrast between the irrigation policies of the KCR regime, which ensured water supply to every acre of farmland over the past decade, and the current situation under Congress rule.
