Hyderabad, Feb. 5 -- Alleged inappropriate comments by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao have incensed the BRS cadre. Accusing Revanth Reddy of speaking like a 'gully' leader despite holding the position of Chief Minister, BRS workers burned his effigy and shouted slogans against him. Protests were held in Bhuvanagiri, Suryapet, and other places across Telangana.

BRS leaders accused the Congress government of spreading false propaganda against BRS and KCR. They asserted that Telangana was the number one state in the country during KCR's rule. However, resentment against the Congress Government has surfaced within two months of its governance.
