India, Feb. 17 -- The Brock Library's Makerspace is bringing together makers from across Niagara for a handmade market with an innovative spin.

Brock's first-ever Makerfest will highlight new and digital technologies on Thursday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rankin Family Pavilion.

"Maker festivals are becoming more common as public and academic libraries increasingly introduce communities to technology that wouldn't otherwise be available," says Makerspace Supervisor Derek Schneider.
