India, May 4 -- At least one person died and 20 others were injured in two explosions which hit Duki district in northern Balochistan on Thursday.

The injured people included two officials of Balochistan polices Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).

Officials told Dawn News that the explosions, in which improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were used, took place with an interval when people and police officials gathered at the site of the first blast.

A truck loaded with coal was targeted in the first blast while carrying coal to Punjab.

An IED exploded close to the truck, injuring three people, officials told Dawn News, adding that the truck was damaged.
